Essential Oils that Ease Depression
These Essential Oils can help comfort and calm you during depression. Remember, you don't have to spend a lot of money on carrier oils. Olive oil or plain vegetable oil work well as a carrier oil. Lighter oils such as Sweet Almond, Grapeseed or Jojoba oil absorb faster but plain, cheap vegetable oil from your cupboard will do in pinch. You can melt coconut oil, add Essential Oils and let it cool until it hardens for a quick balm.
3 drops Cedarwood Essential Oil
3 drops Rosewood Essential Oil
3 drops Geranium Essential Oil
Add to a cotton ball, place in an old lipstick container for an instant inhaler.
Add to 2 ounces of a carrier oil and massage on neck, chest, behind your ears.
Other Essential Oils that help combat depression are Petitgrain, Clary Sage and Coriander. Citrus Essential Oils such as Sweet Orange and Grapefruit are uplifting and may help as well.
